Dr. Russell Kridel has a vast range of experience in facial plastic surgery that has made him a sought-after speaker at medical meetings and courses worldwide. Elected by his peers, Dr. Kridel was National President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from 2000-2001. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and has been a Board examiner in Facial Plastic Surgery for both the ABO and the ABFPRS. Dr. Kridel has written over 10 articles on septal perforations and has given an annual course with David Fairbanks, MD for over 10 years. Dr. Kridel was also awarded the Mark Raferty Award for Surgical Excellence, the highest honor by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
